Staff Wellbeing
'Staff appreciate the support that they receive from leaders. Staff value the opportunities that they have to learn from other staff or subject leaders in order to help them improve their own practice.'
- Ofsted.
At Christ the King, caring for the mental health and general wellbeing of our pupils is paramount. We have an abundance of curricular and pastoral support on hand for this purpose, however we recognise that in order to care for our pupils, it is also important to care for our staff.
With this in mind, we have recently placed more emphasis on staff wellbeing and workload in schools, and we’re proud to have developed our Wellbeing Project in collaboration with our HR Partners, One Education. Led by Mrs Malone alongside other staff throughout the school, this project equips staff with the skills to manage their wellbeing and share similar strategies with children.
We look forward to sharing more details as our project gets underway!
