Pupil Premium Spending
Pupil Premium is allocated to schools to enhance the achievement of pupils who have been registered for free school meals at any point in the last six years. This funding is intended to eliminate barriers to progress and ensure that children eligible for free school meals have equal opportunities to their peers.
At Christ the King, we spend our Pupil Premium on a range of additional support and targeted interventions. Ofsted commended the effective use of our Pupil Premium fund during our last inspection. We maintain this by tracking of pupils’ progress so we can identify those in need of further support and reviewing the impact of our Pupil Premium spending.
To check if your child is eligible for free school meals, please follow the link here. If you are eligible, please inform the school office and let them know your application reference number.
Please have a look at our Pupil Premium Strategy for the current academic year, which includes a review of impact for the previous academic year.
