Our School Day

School opens as follows: six and a half hours per day, 32.5 hours per week.

School Gates and Classroom Doors Open- 8:30am- 8:45am

We understand that there may occasionally be circumstances out of parents’/carers’ control, which mean that pupils arrive after this time. In this instance, children will need to enter school via the Main Office, where they must also be signed in by their Parent/ Carer, providing a reason for late arrival.

Early Morning Work- Upon arrival at school, children are welcomed by staff and begin focussed learning activities, which may include intervention sessions. Please ensure your child arrives at school before the gates close, so they do not miss these vital learning opportunities, whilst also having chance to settle into the day with their classmates.

Morning Register- 8:50am (followed by morning lessons)

Morning Breaktimes

Reception: 10:50am-11:10am

Key Stage One and Two: 10:45am-11:00am

Lunchtime

EYFS: 11:30am-1:15pm

Key Stage One and Two: 12:15pm-1:15pm

Afternoon Register- 1:15pm (followed by afternoon lessons)

Afternoon Breaktime- Reception: 2:15pm-2:35pm

Hometime

Gates are unlocked at 3:10pm

School finishes: 3:15pm

Gates locked: 3:25pm
